How it works
Three steps, ten seconds
01
Drop your video
MP4 or MOV, up to 500MB. The file never leaves your computer — processed entirely in your browser.
02
Patch runs
Our optimizer processes the video container on our servers in a way TikTok's ingestion system responds to differently.
03
Upload via desktop
Download the patched file, then upload through TikTok Studio on a desktop browser. Mobile apps always re-compress.

Patch Your Video
Processed entirely in your browser — your video never leaves your computer.
Upload via TikTok Studio on desktop browser only. Mobile apps re-process your video before it reaches TikTok's servers. After downloading, go to tiktok.com/creator-center on desktop to upload.

Download the patched file and upload through TikTok Studio on desktop. Don't use the mobile app and don't add music or crop inside TikTok — it will re-encode.

FAQ
Common questions
Does my video get uploaded anywhere? +
Your video is securely uploaded to our servers for processing only. It is never stored, shared, or retained after the patched file is returned to you.
Will TikTok still compress my video? +
TikTok always applies some processing. This tool significantly reduces how aggressively it compresses your upload. Combined with TikTok Studio on desktop, the quality difference is noticeable.
Why desktop browser only? +
The TikTok mobile app re-compresses your video at the app level before it even hits TikTok's servers. TikTok Studio on a desktop browser skips that extra step.

On mobile? Open Chrome or Edge, tap the menu → Request Desktop Site, then go to tiktok.com/creator-center and upload from there. It works the same as desktop.
What formats are supported? +
MP4 and MOV. H.264, H.265, VP9, and AV1 codecs all work. Maximum 500MB.
How long does it take? +
Usually under 5 seconds for most files. No encoding happens — only the container is modified, so speed depends on file size not video length.
